• Chat export files— the conversation archives you upload to our service.

Your information is used solely to provide and improve the ChatExport service. Specifically, we use it to:

• Authenticate you and manage your account.
• Store, process, and display your uploaded chat archives.
• Send transactional emails such as one-time passwords (OTP).
• Monitor service health and fix bugs.

Data Storage & Security

Your chat archives are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed tokens, and role-based access controls to protect your data. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with service providers that help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the service.

Right to Erasure

You can delete any uploaded chat archive directly from your dashboard at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us and we will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

ChatExport does not use marketing or tracking cookies. We only use strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are set by our service.
